MSPM0L1105: Rate of PICO is slowly

Hi Team,

One of my customers is using MSPM0L1105, when set this MCU to SPI master, 3-wire mode, the PICO signal (the yellow rail in picture below, pink one is clock) is ramping slowly, the whole process takes 92us, which supposed to be ns rank. There is no pull-up or pull-down circuits around the pin, just equipped with a 100pF capacitor. If set this pin to GPIO function, it works normally, and it works when sending data.

Customers could not share the original code with us under restriction, could you please help to share your insights on this issue? Thanks a lot.

Is this customer configuring the SPI using the Sysconfig tool? If so, can they share their ..syscfg file?

Are you sure it is 100pf? What are they driving?

SPI configuration as below, customer tried 4-wire mode as well, same issues happens.

Hi Shengyue,

Ok, it's behaving as though the HI-Z enable bit for the PICO pin is enabled. By default HI-Z is disabled and I don't see anything in the startup code that might be setting this bit. I'll set something up in the lab and see if I can reproduce. In the mean time, can the customer try running in debug mode and capture the contents of the PICO register after the PICO pin has been initialized? I'm curious to see state of bits HIGHZ0 and HIGHZ1.
