TMS570LC4357-EP: Expected CoreMark benchmark result for TMS570LC43

We have ported the CoreMark benchmark software (https://www.eembc.org/coremark/) to run on the TMS570LC43 EVM board (using CCS and "TI v20.2.7.LTS" compiler toolchain). The results we have observed, are:

CoreMark 1.0 score on TMS570LC43:

No optimization: 45.55
Level 0 optimization: 103.11
Level 1 optimization: 113.90
Level 2 optimization: 148.35
Level 3 optimization: 152.89
Level 4 optimization: 155.63

Our TMS570LC43 EVM CPU clock (GCLK) config when running the CoreMark code, is:

Hence, the CPU should be running at 200MHz, if we are not mistaken.

We would like to inquire about whether the observed CoreMark results are expected, on TMS570LC43? Please advise.

Hi John,

After referring previous threads i found the benchmarking for this device is 496 DMIPS @300MHz that means 1.654 DMIPS / MHz.

Thank you for the feedback. Two more questions, please:

By what I provided above, could you suggest a proper way to up the CPU clock of our TMS570LC43, beyond the 200MHz (e.g. 300MHz)?
So, there is not a CoreMark benchmark reference for TMS570LC43?
