AM2732: Does CFAR Engine support 2D-CFAR detector?

I think AM273x have CFAR Engine in HWA2.0 same hardware to AWR/IWR series.

May I have question about CFAR Engine?

I believe this support 1D-CFAR.

How is 2D CA-CFAR?

Or for 2D-CFAR, is this engine doing 1D-CFAR per range-bin?

Hi,

The link that you have shared is a custom application. So, please check the readme provided in the link shared by you for more details.

2D CFAR is not supported by the HWA. In our processing chain, we perform CFAR operation in doppler dimension followed by CFAR in range dimension and take an intersection of both the outputs.
