Hi,
I am getting the following error when trying to program/erase the AM243X using XDS110 debugger. I have tried power cycling the entire system and the computer but it keeps happening. Any help would be appreciated.

MAIN_Cortex_R5_0_0: Error connecting to the target: The target is in reset due to wait-in-reset (WIR) mode and cannot be halted (Emulation package 9.9.0.00040)

    Hi Rajeev,

    Can you please tell which version of CCS are you using?

    Which boot mode are you using?

    Is the EVM initialized properly with the SBL binaries? Are you able to see the boot logs when EVM is powered on?

    Using CCS 12
    However for some reason, power cycle wasn't helping but when I removed power to the board and removed the debugger and kept the system off for a long time, the problem was not seen when powered up again...

    Can you please tell the specific version? There are CCS versions starting from CCS 12.1 to 12.8.

    After power cycle are you relaunching the target configuration file?

    Or are you trying to halt the CPU without terminating the earlier debug session?

    Make sure you terminate the debug session. Power Cycle the EVM properly. Confirm boot logs are coming on UART terminal. Re-launch the target configuration and connect to the core.
