MSPM0G3507-Q1: LDO regulator

Part Number: MSPM0G3507-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS746-Q1, TPS7A47-Q1, TLV767-Q1, TPS7A47

Tool/software:

I am looking for a LDO that will power the M0G3507 Microcontroller. Input power is 5V from a LM5085Q.

I am considering these parts:  TPS7A47-Q1, TPS746-Q1, and TLV767-Q1

What is your recommendation? I am not looking for space grade parts but wish to use a part that is at least somewhat radiation tolerant.

The TPS7A47 is bipolar so I was thinking it might be a better choice.

  • Hi David,

For MSPG3507, all the requirements are the voltage (3.3V typical) and current (MCU max 80-100mA). Others are not must feature for MCU.

I will move the org to LDO team and defer for their comments on your question.

  • Hi David,

Yes, TPS7A47 uses a bipolar process and the other two are CMOS process. So we would generally consider TPS7A47 to be more likely to show radiation tolerance however none of these devices have undergone radiation testing by TI.

Here is a filtered version of our parametric search, narrowed down to enhanced and space grade products in case you want to assess other devices for your application.
