LP-AM243: Raspberry PI Power Adapter problem

Part Number: LP-AM243

Tool/software:

Greetings,

I have of the LP-AM243 kit and have been utilizing my laptop's Type C port to power it. Initially, I encountered no issues while working with the kit. However, as the scope of my development expanded to include additional boards, I found the need for an external power supply to adequately power up the boards. In response to this requirement, I acquired a Raspberry Pi Power adapter with the assumption that it would seamlessly integrate with the setup.

Regrettably, upon attempting to power up the system using the Raspberry Pi power supply, I observed that the power error LED (red LED) illuminated, indicating a malfunction. Subsequently, reverting to the power supply from my laptop via the Type C cable, I noticed that LED6, LED7, and LED8 (green LEDs) illuminated without any issues. Notably, I can successfully enter the debugging mode when powering up the kit from the laptop.

I am seeking your assistance in diagnosing and resolving the underlying issue causing this discrepancy. Any guidance or insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
