Hi.

We just got a kit, TMS570LC43, and I wanted to test it out with one of the Hercules Safety MCU Demos.

We work in a 100% offline environment. Installed CCStudio 20.0.1 (after downloading and transferring to the offline computer)

When starting Code Composer Studio it is not able to identify the SDK/kit connected. "No compatible Board detected" Also the TMS570 is not listed in the dropdown "select a board or device"

The "Create new Project" appears to require to be online to function!

It only starts the wizard that state “Resource Explorer appears to be offline”

I have tried to reinstall, restart, noting works.

Using Uni_Flash i can read and write to the TMS570 kit so it is connected and working.

Any suggestions?

Can we setup one live debugging session?

Is that possible from your end?

I will be available from 10AM to 8PM IST (Indian Standard Time). Based on your availability, you can setup a live debugging session.

And also, i am suggesting you try with CCS12.8.1 once because the new version of CCS needs some additional modifications to work with Hercules devices. So first try below CCS once.

CCSTUDIO IDE, configuration, compiler or debugger | TI.com

If this doesn't solve your problem, lets setup one live debugging session. Where i can guide you well.

Hi Jagadish,

Unfortunately, I cannot setup a live debug session on the computer used to develop because of the restrictions. I can use CCS12.8.1 and that is working offline but wanted to stay on top of the latest tools and test them out.

It would be nice to get the latest to also work offline or I this something that will not be supported in the future?
