MSP432E401Y: Can MSP432E401Y use discrete LP-XDS110 EVM to flash?

Part Number: MSP432E401Y
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP-XDS110

Tool/software:

Hi team,

My customers are using MSP432E401Y Microcontroller LaunchPad to control the TPS92682-SEPIC EVM and test the LED driver. However, they faced some problem of the MSP432E401Y launchpad and cannot connect and burn the program with using Uni-flash. I am considering if the XDS110 of the launchpad have some problems.

Hence I would like to ask that can I use the LP-XDS110 board connecting with the MSP432E401Y launchpad and flash with Uni-flash? If so how should I connect these two EVMs, just simply connect the 20pin LP-EM debug connector to the J101?

Pls give some suggestions on this, thanks.

BR,

Manu

Please refer to the below description when using the LaunchPad to debug "out" another board. Basically, on one of your LaunchPad board, you would remove the TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS, and RST jumpers from JP101  and using the XDS-110 to drive JTAG signals out on J102. On the other LaunchPad board, you will also first remove the TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS, RST, and 3V3 jumpers from J101 and then connect J11 header for the external debugger.
