TMS570LC4357: Difference between part variation

RM48 will complaint to IEC 61508

Whereas TMS570LC will complaint to both ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.

ISO 26262 is specifically designed for the automotive industry, addressing the functional safety of electronic systems in production vehicles. 

IEC 61508 is a more general standard applicable to a wide range of industries, including automotive, process, and machinery.

So, RM48 is well suited for industrial applications other than passenger cars. On the other hand, TMS570 will be suitable for all industrial applications along with the passenger cars.

About second one, I'm specifically wondering about hardware development kit. At first glance those two HDKs look very similar and schematic look to be same, but we want to make sure. If it can be confirmed that TMS570LC43HDK and TMDSRM48HDK indeed have same schematic, we can reuse the materials we used previously with the TMDSRM48HDK.
