Hello, it possible to use the LAUNCHXL2-RM46 board to evaluate the 144-pin PGE package TMS570LS3137PGE simply by swapping the IC? Would the provided on-board debugger work properly despite the different endian-ness etc?

    Hi Chris,

    Apologies for the delayed response, i was off for few days.

    I think you can do this it should work, i compared JTAG and power supply pins between these two controllers for 144-pin package and they were same.

    So, i think you can replace the RM46 controller on Launchpad with TMS570LS3137.

    Also, if you verify the schematic of RM46 Launchpad, it is a same schematic for TMS570LS12x lauchpad.

    So, i think we can replace the RM46x controller with TMS570 if the pins were match.
