AM2634: Are there protocol documents for the UART&CAN bootload processes?

Tool/software:

I need to create separate (non-python-based) PC applications to load software using the UART/CAN SBL bootloaders. I can sniff the python-based processes to try to reverse engineer them, but an actual full-protocol document would be better.

Hello,

Unfortunately I do not believe we have a stand-alone full-protocol document at the moment. For understanding the protocols for UART and CAN, please see below:

UART:

The most comprehensive information is in the SDK, under Tools and Utilities > Flashing Tools > UART Uniflash > Detailed sequence of steps that happen when flashing files

CAN:

The best I can find at the moment is in the SDK, under Examples and Demos > Secondary Bootloader (SBL) > SBL CAN *or* SBL CAN UNIFLASH

You can also take a read through of the Initialization chapter of the AM263x Technical Reference Manual and the Bootflow Guide in the SDK.
