My customer is bringing up boards with the TM4C1294NCPDT, but need to boot the firmware to the device to allow the boards to function.

They shared the following block diagram of their boards:

What is the correct protocol for locating/installing this firmware? Is this outlined in section 6.2 (How to Boot Load with LM Flash Programmer) of the Getting Started with TivaWare for C Series guide?

    Hi,

      I suppose your question is how to download XDS110 firmware to TM4C129 which will be acting as a onboard JTAG debug probe for debugging AWRL6432, correct? For best support you should raise the ticket to AWRL6432 but i can give some feedback. Please note my knowledge is limited to TM4C129 MCU, not XDS110 and how it is exactly used in a AWRL6432 systems. 

      To load the XDS110 firmware to a virgin TM4C129 device, you need to put the device in DFU mode. You need to load both the flash bootloader as well as the XDS110 firmware. Please refer to XDS110 product page below and look under the 'Flashing the bootloader' section to first flash the bootloader and then go to the 'Manual Update' to update XDS110 firmware using xdsdfu.exe command.
