TMDSCNCD263P: Uniflash/Bootflow

Part Number: TMDSCNCD263P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

Hey experts,
ive read several informations about the bootflow of am263p but ive still some problems.

First of all the SW iam using:
CCS 12.8.1.00005
SDK 10_00_00_35
Uniflash 8.8.1.4983

Reading the academy i understand that 2 bootloaders are beeing used. RBL and SBL.

1.Question: Does any µC Chip have a RBL SW flashed by default?

At the moment most of the time iam using the board in DEV Bootmode.

2. Question: What exactly does DEV Bootmode mean? Where is the code saved? I imagine its in RAM because after every Powercycle the code is gone.

Now i wanna save the code in flash. Academy says ive to put the board into DEV Bootmode, flash and put it to OSPI mode.

3.Question: Now its okay to switch bootmode because ive dip switches but later in our costum board we won't have them. How to flash without changing the bootmode?

When i tried to flash SBL(precompiled versions of SDK) to my Evalboard  it doesn't work:

Console in Uniflash says load was successfully. But when i powercycle and change Bootmode to OSPI ( 1 or 8 ) it just prints (over UART):

4.Question: What iam doing wrong?

When i flash with Bootmode OSPI choosen, it prints the following after powercycle:

5.Question: What does that indicate?

Best regards

Marcel
