TMS570LS1224: FSRF0 and Dual-port memories

No, it should indicate port0 failure only for dual ports as well. I mean if it simply indicates failure has occurred for either of the 2 ports then there is no point of providing FSRF1 register right?

I didn't test this in practical, but this is what my understanding after going through TRM.

The TMS570LS12x/11x TRM does not list FSRF1 in the table of PBIST Control Registers:

Also, the PBIT Sequence only mentions checking FSRF0:

So, there appears to still be an inconsistency?
