LP-AM243: Debugging PRU from CCS

Tool/software:

Our customer wants to use CCS to debug PRU core, and is using Empty Project in MCU PLUS SDK v10.01.00.32, but after connecting the PRU core, registers are not read in CCS registers view.

By the way, Linux documentation for AM64x describes how to debug the PRU from CCS, and also mentions that the registers view can be used.

Is the registers view available for the PRU? If so, how can it be used?

Hi Daisuke,

You are not able to see the register values because it seems that the PRU clocks are not initialised at this point and the connection is failing with "(Connecting : In Reset)" next to the core.

Couple of questions:

What is the board initialised with - SBL NULL or something else?
Is this the empty example the customer is loading on R5F? - software-dl.ti.com/.../EXAMPLES_PRU_EMPTY.html
