TMS570LC4357: LIN1/SCI1 Idle Line Interrupt

Unfortunately, Character timeout interrupt in SCI, is not possible in this device. And that TIMEOUT interrupt you are talking about is also for LIN mode only not for SCI.

Application should need to take care of this, and one of the methods is given in below thread:
