    Hi Shibijith,

    We don't spec the max case temp. We spec the max junction temperature. The ABS max junction is 150C for TPS62097. 

    Since the thermal resistance of junction to PCB board will be much lower than thermal resistance of junction to case top, most of the heat will flow from junction to board.

    This means there will be only a small delta between case top and junction temperature. For your case you can assume the max junction temperature for case as well.
