SYSCONFIG: migrate to newer SDK

Part Number: SYSCONFIG
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM6442,

Tool/software:

Hi,
is there a possibility to open or migrate a .syscfg file/configuration (created with older SDK) to a newer SDK?

How to find out in .syscfg GUI which version of SDK was used? In customer .syscfg it is not shown in the header (the argument -product is not shown).

Customer uses AM6442 and Sysconfig 1.22.0+3893.

Regards, Holger

  • Hi,

In customer .syscfg it is not shown in the header (the argument -product is not shown).

If the product field is empty, it means no SDK is used while creating the .sysconfig file. You can migrate the changes as it is between different version if device data is not changed between those versions.

If device data is changed you will need to manually add those changes using the Sysconfig GUI tool.
