Hi Experts,

my customer needs to upgrade their app and sbl during operation. Do we have example or documents showing how to do so?

Meanwhile, the SBL is in tiimage and is signed, would this cuase a issue when upgrading the SBL from APP?

We currently do not have a document ready yet. May I know if they are planning to use the security or without security

For now, without the security. BTW what's the difference?

Security enforced device has customer keys programmed and supports secure boot.

What's the Boot seg here? I can't find it on TRM.

Additionally, when the device is first reset, is SBL V1 that would be executed? In this case how the RBL selects SBL V0 or V1?

Bootseg is just a memory location in flash that is fixed by user.

It is more like a design choice, they can over write the 0x0 location in flash with SBL V1 once they have received the application update but they will need to do the application verification in the Application V0

Ok. In the block to the right, "SBL reads boot seg then validate .... overwrite in Region A". Is SBL in Region A (0x0) is running, how can it overwrite it self?

SBL execute from RAM, Once the SBL starts execution, it runs from RAM, so you can overwrite the SBL in flash,so that once you power cycle in next iteration new SBL will be booted.
