Tool/software:

When using MCAN4 for message transmission and reception, the messages are not responding properly.

MCAL version used:MCAL_AM263Px_10.00.00

PC-side CAN message tool:PCAN

During the process of transmitting and receiving messages, the following issues may be encountered:

Subsequently, I attempted to disable the Loopback and utilized CanExample_ExternalTest(), selecting the channel MCAN4.Without any modifications, the sample code in CanApp.c is unable to transmit CAN signals.

I would be extremely grateful if you could help address the above issues.

For this board Can transceiver needs to be enabled before transmitting/receiving messages. Will share a patch for same by end of next week.

Update these files in MCAL_Installation_DIR/mcal folder and it will enable you to use MCAN4 for CanExample_ExternalTest.

Hi,

I have already updated the patch.However, during the execution of CanExample_ExternalTest,The program will proceed to execute Can_MainFunction_BusOff.While I was examining the variable status within Can_MainFunction_Write,The variable txStatus within Can_mcanProcessTx is equal to 0.Additionally, the Trace interface of PCAN is not responding.

Hello,

I have tested the patch on am263px-cc board PROC159A. It works fine for me. Can you make sure to use pmicenable and mcanEnableTransceiver before can transmission. Please refer can_app example provided in mcal.
