MSPM0L1228: COMP IN+/- pins in SysConfig tool do not match with device datasheet

Part Number: MSPM0L1228
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG,

Tool/software:

I have made a schematic design using the MSPM0L1228SPNR and in accordance with the information listed in the device datasheet (SLASF94A)

In this design I use analog inputs: A_0 to A_7, A_9 to A_11 and A_13 to A_21.

I also use COMP0_IN0+ and COMP0_IN0-

I'm now filling in my design in the SysConfig tool to double check and also to prepare for software development.

I selected device MSPM0L1228 in the PN (LQFP 80 pin) package.

I get resource conflicts on these COMP0 pins.

Both the web tool (1.22.0+3940) and the download version (1.22.0+3893) give the same errors:

COMP0_IN0+ conflict with PA26/78 already used by the ADC (for input A_1) and COMP0_IN0- conflict with PA27/79 used by ADC (for input A_0).

This does not match the datasheet pin locations for the COMP0_IN0+ and COMP0_IN0-  which states pins 30 and 31 for the PN package (and other packages also)

In fact none of the COMP0_IN pins in the SysConfig tool match with the datasheet.

I've checked the device errata (SLAZ755b) for any mention or explanation for this, but I cannot find any.

Please let me know what information is correct the datasheet or the SysConfig tool.

I'm sincerly hoping and expecting the datasheet to be correct?

Regards,

Jan
