Dear expert,

Two of my customers use CCS12.8.1 and download the CSP, follow the instruction to replace the ccsbase. One customer loads the demo project, but there is an error:

The other customer can load the demo project, but there are errors when building project:

Could you give some suggestions about the two customers' issues? Thank you.

The Angela,
which syscfg version is customer using, recommended is to use 1.21.2

Also once the project is imported in ccs, go to properties-> product->syscgf

and double check that same syscfg version is selected.

For TI ARM CLANG issue, please ask customer to separately install the arm clang compiler

Hi Nilabh,

He checked the sysconfig version is already 1.21.2. Is there any other reason?

Hi Angela,

Please follow below to fix this issue:

1. Download and install CCS 12.8.1 fresh(uninstall previous one)

2. Do not manually update the csp package, instead follow below to update the CSP:

then after sometime you will see following pop up:

select Sitara MCU device support to get support for AM261x. Unselect other updates.

Select agreement and click finish.

Then after installation is complete ,

Restart CCS

This should fix the issue .

As the customer can not connect to internet, do you have any off-line update method?

Is EtherCAT demo in the file: mcu_plus_sdk_am261x_10_00_01_10\source\networking? If not, could you send me the link to download?

Hi Angela,

I think this might be difficult, you can try sending the updated package from your PC to customer, but I still am not sure if this would work.
