Hi,

I am planning to use these for some sensor monitoring application. I require 100 pins. I need to have detailed current consumption details like other micro datasheets.

example: TMS320F28377D-EP of Table 4.1 Device Current Consumption at 200-MHz SYSCLK.

Could you please share the table, it will be very helpfull to me to calculate exact power required for my application.

I have seen this from datasheet. I am looking more details. for my application i need to design power back up circuit. if I get exact details how much CPU1 consuming with I/o;s it will be help full. like below.

Hi Santhosh,

The current consumption given in the datasheet didn't consider the IO loading, we should need to add the IO loading based on the application.

Hello Jagadish,

I checked the above thread it is showing temperature rise calculations, But I am looking more how power/current consumption if I use 25 ADC pins, 6 PWM pins, UART, SPI communication pins, CPU1 like that.. in the Operational condition, Idle, Stand by like above.

Could you please suggest how to get those information.

Hi Santhosh,

Unfortunately there is no such information available directly,

You should need to estimate manually based on the loads connected the microcontroller.

We already discussed the typical microcontroller current right,

And most of the output pins drive strength is usually 2mA.

You can find this information also in the datasheet.

So based on the load connected and number of pins you are using you can estimate the power consumption.
