AM2432: Configure The Boot Mode After Powerup

Hi Hao,

This will not work, for Boot mode to change DFU you need to perform a Powercycle on the SoC. This is why MCU+SDK also recommends to POWER-OFF the EVM then change the bootmode pins to set the required bootmode and then only POWER-ON the EVM.

As you have already loaded you application using JTAG there is no need for the DFU boot anyways.

I think this finding should go into one of the FAQ's sourced by (21) Kallikuppa Sreenivasa's Profile - Kallikuppa Sreenivasa - TI E2E support forums across a number of Sitara AM243x & AM6x products. Those who are old enough (myself included) to remember when JTAG was introduced suspect one nowadays cannot do everything via JTAG with newer IC and PCBA initialization schemes.
