TÜV certification at TMS570

I read that theTMS570 is certified by Exida, but is there also a certification of the german TÜV?

Are Exida and Tüv comparable?

    Hello,

    Neither IEC 61508 nor ISO 26262 have requirements for notified bodies (specific auditing bodies required per standard).  exida and the many branches of TUEV are both accredited auditors, as are many others (UL, DNV, etc.).  In general, there is a reciprocity between auditors who are accredited to the same standard.  

    With regards to comparable capabilities, this is highly dependent on the auditor rather than the auditing body.  There are several good auditors at both exida and TUEV, many of whom have been directly involved in development of the IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 standards.
