AM2432: COL pin usesage

Hi,
I understood that COL pin is needed for MII half-duplex when using ICSS Ethernet MAC and for full-duplex it is not needed.

When using full-duplex can the pin useed with other function as GPIO or should it be configured to GND?

Here are my inputs based on internal sync with

The pin is do not care in Full duplex mode.

The pin is configured as input.

The recommendation would be to add a parallel pull when the receive buffers are enabled.

In case customer has some concerns on adding the resistor, customer needs to evaluate options to disable the TX and RX buffers are off and also ensure no trace is connected to the SOC pad.
