MSPM0G3507: No debug-play button after updating

Hi Anders,
I would recommend to back-up your projects in a different folder, and then install the latest CCS 20.1.0, the latest M0SDK, and the latest SYSCONFIG. If the problems still remain after you install everything, let me know.

I did completely uninstall version1.5
Then a clean install of CCS 20.0.2.5__1.6.2 (SDK: 2.4.0.06, SysConfig: 1.22.0)

Make a simple test, using the config tool to set up a simple pwm.

Pressing F5 for debug ends up with this:

At this point, the program is not running. I did find out though, that it will start if I press the NRST button on the board (it's a LPMSPM0G3507)
But usually - before the update - I would have a "play" button here, to start the program.

That seems weird. Can you try importing an SDK project like gpio_toggle, right-clicking the project you want to run, and then click the debug button?

If that's the case, there might be something in the project you're running that is causing the issue to appear. My suggestion will be to re-create the project you are having problems using a "working" empty project, and see if that fixes the issue.

That's actually what I tried to describe above.
For example, I make a new simple project, using the "empty_driverlib_src" template.
I enable "DriverLib" in the system configurator.
save all, rebuild, debug. -> no play button.

Does the problem only appear when you use the empty_driverlib_src and your project? Or does it also happen when you have to debug the gpio_toggle project? If the gpio_toggle works, I would recommend using the gpio_toggle project as your base and working from there.

For now, I can work around this - but my presumption is that this is not expected behaviour of the program, and shouldn't happen when using any of the example projects?
