MSPM0C1104: 8 bytes Read/Write on EEPROM emulation

Part Number: MSPM0C1104

Tool/software:

Hi,

My customer has a question about EEPROM emulation.

Looking at the example code of EEPROM typeB, it seems that it is an 8-byte block-by-block Read/Write (probably in terms of memory life).

Generally, EEPROM can be read and written in 1 byte units, but it is difficult with the Flash memory on MSPM0 to approximate general EEPROM operation. Correct ?

8 bytes is the smallest unit due to writing Flash, Correct ?

Thanks and regards,

Hideaki
