Hi, is there any information about XDS100v2 support for CortexM4F?
The XDS100 wiki doesn't mention them while it states that M3 are supported.
I presume that M3 and M4 are so similar that XDS100v2 (and v3 as well) supports them all, is it?

Hi Maurizio,
We are currently pressing our internal software group to add support for the LM4Fxxx products with in CCS IDE. It is available for the LM3Sxxxx devices.

Duc Anh Truong,
We are still pressing for an update and date of when it will support LM4F.

Our firm uses paid IAR 6.3 and this works fine w/M4F from TI/others. Believe that Keil also behaves. Major IDE providers most always "react" to new releases long before the lesser players. Both IAR and Keil offer code-limited versions free for download.
Hi guys,
I observed that this post is from last year hopefully there is a new update from TI on this. I also have the same question ie; does XDS100-V2 already support CortexM4F devices? specifically LM4F232?
Thank you,
Sherwin Tiongson
Sherwin,
Yes the XDS100-V2 works with LM4Fxxx devices. You will have to add the .xml file. See post:
for instructions and .xml file (attached before Q&A section.)
