RM48L952: RM48 debug access problem with XDS200

Part Number: RM48L952

Tool/software:

Hello,

We have a connection problem with our debugger XDS200. We would like to have your expert opinions on the topic which may help us to resolve this issue.

We were using the debugger and it works well for several days. We could debug the software without problem.

However, yesterday, during one debug session, the connection was suddenly lost and from that point, we can no longer access the RM48 via our debugger.

The error is:

Error: (Error -1170 @ 0x0)
Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation.
If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).

We have tried to follow the tips described in https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ccs_debugging_jtag_connectivity_issues.html#common-errors to resolve the problem without success.

At this stage, from "Debug" view in CCS, we can connect to DAP without problem. From DAP, we can even read and write the memory.
From this point, I suppose the Icepick works too => The debugger works
However, we cannot connect to the Cortex R4 (right click on Cortex R4, then click on "Connect Target").
The "Test connection" works too.
We have tried another new XDS200 and still no connection and the JTAG signals are verified electronically.

Could you please give us your opinion on the problem which may help us resolve the problem?
Maybe the RM48 is in a kind of lock state? If it is the case, how to get out of this state?

Thank you for your support.

Regards,
Hanlin YU
