Hello,

What is the maximum baud rate that can be achieved with the TMS570LC4357? Additionally, if I set VCLK to its maximum value of 110 MHz, what baud rate and error rate can I achieve? Are there any other factors that should be considered before increasing VCLK?

Also, can I disable the Lockstep mode and use both cores parallely to increase the processing capability?

I hope you are talking about SCI or UART baudrate?

The two cores in Hercules controllers (that includes RM57Lx) will always operate in lockstep mode only, and you can't separate them and program them differently. The cores will always load with same code and execute the same code.
