My customer is trying to migrate the single-chip servo program from one core to another. Could you tell me the meaning of each pre-defined symbol given below?

Also, if they want to switch to EVM base, what should they change for these settings?

Hi Mari,

assuming your customer wants to switch from AM243x-LP to AM243x-EVM:

SOC_AM243X = used processor, no change needed for EVM

OSAL_FREERTOS = type of RTOS, no change needed for EVM

am243x = used processor, no change needed for EVM

am243x_lp = board variant, change to "am243x_evm"

SSC_CHECKTIMER = enable SSC internal timer, no change needed for EVM

USE_ECAT_TIMER =usage of ESC system time (instead of SYS/BIOS timestamp), no change needed for EVM

CUST_PHY_DP83869 = used PHY, no change needed for EVM
