The customer is developing a device (BTM) using the TMS570LS3137DZWTQQ1 that receives ground information such as train position and speed restrictions. They are requesting a document that explains Failure Modes in detail. If available, they would like you to get shared with an Application Note, Reference Manual, or any other type of documentation that describes the Failure Modes.
For thier project requirements, Failure modes analysis are highly important in the context of functional safety (FuSa) analysis, including FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis). If such information is included in the Functional Safety Manual, please provide that document. The company in question is DAE***, and an NDA has recently been signed.
