Hi Zane,
I believe you are using the NAND flash in place of the EMMC to store the image(bitplane) data.
For that we can use the NAND Flash : MT29F4G08ABAFAWP-AAT.
The schematic also mentions about it.

If you don't have the reference schematic, I can share that with you.

Additionally, if you want help in understanding if a particular NAND flash can be used or not, then I think the Sitara team will be able to better handle that.
