MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM261X: HSMRt firmware loading fails with AM261x launchpad with SDK version 10.0.1.10

Tool/software:

We have to evaluate secure boot features with AM261 LP. However, i have tried out the SBL OSPI example which loads HSMRt firmware. HSMRt firmware download happens but doesnt boot up indicated in the screen shot below:


The loadHSMResult shows the following:

Can you please confirm if the SDK example works from your side?

    Hi Joshua,

    Did you already programmed the keys?

    If yes is it the TI dummy keys or custom keys?

    Did you install TIFS and rebuild the HSMRT image?

    Did you rebuild the SBL OSPI with argument DEVICE=am261x DEVICE_TYPE=HS?

    Hi Nilabh,

    You have answered in the previous post regarding pre programmed TI keys with AM261LP are missing with older versions, i think that answers the question regarding HSMRt not booting up.

    I would like to now check if can do the test of OTP keys provisioning with AM263 Launch pad. However, i have could not find VPP pin which needs 1.7V for programming OTP keys. Can you please tell me if i could program OTP keys on AM263 launch pad?

    Hi Joshua you can order an am263px -LP or CC

    After Am263x, we added an internal LDO in AM263Px./AM261x doc which takes care of it.
