AM2631: Changing ESI XML for EtherCAT application

Hi Experts,

What's the process of changing the ESI XML file? I saw in the guide that we can change the tiescappl.xlsx and re-generate the stack with SSC tool, but it doesn't include how to modify the ESI file.

Additionally,

1. If the xml is generated by SSC tool, why the ESI xml for the demo is acquired in the sdk folder instead of generated by SSC tool as well?

2. Where can I find the xlsx file for the TI_ESC xml file in the sdk? Is it the one bechhoff_stack/patch/tiescappl.xlsx ?

Hi Hang,

ESI is generated by the SSC tool when you modify the excel file which gets used by SSC tool to generate Stack code, modified ESI file is also generated.

Another way is to manually modify it.

This can also be used.
