AM2632-Q1: Do we have GPMC Nand flash demo on AM263x?

Hi Team,

Do we have GPMC NAND flash demo on AM263x? Want to use MT29F4G08ABAFAWP which is 8bit data bit width. But sysconfig don't support to choose 8bit device. There are two ways: One is we can provide 8 bit demo to customer, maybe can refer AM24x, do we need modify demo code? Another way is to use 16bit device. Our AM263x demo is for GMPC psRAM..., not for GPMC NAND flash. So can am263x demo suitable Nand flash?

No, currently AM26x SDK does not have demo code on the GPMC NAND interface.

This can be done with couple of tweaks in the code.I will check with SDK team for a workaround on this issue and get back before EOW.

Hi,
GPMC Nand is not yet supported on am263x, but if you still want to use the driver, you can take reference from am243x, there they have a demo for gpmc nand flash.The PSRAM demo cant be modified for nand as they use different underlying apis
