AM2634: Availability schedule of Industrial communication SDK

Hi, TI experts.

I want to know when I get "Industrial communication SDK" for AM2634.

Actually one of reasons why I selected AM2634 was the support of industrial communications protocols.

I heard at the beginning of last year that it would come out in the first quarter of 2024.

But I still don't know when I can get it.

I would like to know TI's plans regarding this.

    The Industrial Communications SDK for AM263x is already live on ti.com. (has been since late 2023). You can visit: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/INDUSTRIAL-COMMUNICATIONS-SDK-AM263X/10.00.00.12 to find all the versions of the SDK.

    Was this the general Industrial Comms SDK or some specific feature support? Let me know if you are looking for something specific which is not present in the above SDK.

    Hello, Shaunak Deshpande.

    I always searched for Resource Explorer and did not notice there was the SDK.

    I checked the link you provided, but the content is not much different from before.

    Unlike industrial communication SDK for AM243x, industrial communication SDK for AM263x does not include other protocols except EtherCAT such as Profinet or Ethernet/IP.

    To be more precise with my question, I would like to know what the support plans are for these protocols. (Full protocol stacks from TI for Profinet or Ethernet/IP)

    Hello Mr. Chang, 

    Thank you for the question. I may recommend you AM263Px or AM261x if you were looking for the support of Ethernet/IP and/or Profinet besides EtherCAT.

    Both protocols (Ethernet/IP and Profinet) will be supported in the upcoming industrial communication SDKs for AM263Px and AM261x to be released by early May. As to AM263x, we don't have a plan to support any additional protocols beyond what are included today.
