Hello.

I have my own target boards.

Some work fine with CSS and the XDS110 debug probe and others have the error in the title.

"Force Reset" does nothing. Power cycling and rebooting debug probe does nothing.

How do I fix this please ?

Hi Phil,

This looks like the MCU is locked.

One thing is that to process factory reset to unlock the device, refer to below documents:https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slaaed1e/slaaed1e.pdf?ts=1745204061736

Or, you can also connect PA18 to VCC and then try re-program again.

Thanks...I tried "Unlock through CCS"...does not work just hangs....

This is incredibly frustrating...I have loads of target boards that I can not use...

NOTE: these devices have never been used....

Hi Philip,

The DAP error is not the MCU locked behavior. This normally related to hardware issues.

Can you share the MCU schematic and I want to check is there any issue here.

By the way, please check the SWD connection, I used to see the SWDIO and SWCLK is opposite.

Hello.

The schematic and board is fine..I have been debugging and writing code on it for the last two months.

A new batch of boards has this issue...all connections are same as before.

Any difference between these two batch of boards?

Could you swap the samples in the good board and bad boards and take a try.
