Hi Burak,
The Universal Motor Control Example is suitable for driving an ACIM. However, the UMC example focuses on BLDC and PMSM motors. Slippage for ACIMs may not be properly considered, so you will likely need to adapt the example specifically for ACIM.

Thanks for your feedback.
Is there a sample specifically made for ACIMs?

Burak
Burak,
I don't believe there is, but let me check with our Motor Control SDK owner (who is currently out of office, but will return next week). I appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenient wait time.

Brennan
Hi Burak,
We currently only support PMSM and BLDC motors in our current design, and immediate roadmap on solution improvement will more towards absolute encoder support and industrial communication support (EtherCAT, PROFINET, etc.).
We may be doing some ACIM support in the future, but not a priority for us at this time.
If you have a specific to do low voltage ACIM, can you please help share some background on this? The most common ACIM use case we see are on AC drives (high voltage). Thanks.
