MSPM0G3106-Q1: asking the time base dependency of WWDT

Part Number: MSPM0G3106-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSPM0G3519,

Tool/software:

Hello TI expert

I have couple of questions regarding the WWDT of M0G series,

In TRM chapter 30 "WWDT", it states :

-- the time base of WWDT is independent of the MCLK and CPUCLK

-- the LFCLK shall be synchronized to MCLK before sourcing the WWDT module

-- there have possibility the MCLK fails and lose synchronization with LFCLK

I guess MCLK acts the role of gate control, if MCLK failed then LFCLK can't  pass through the sync module to drive the WWDT module.

so I want to know if the time base of WWDT can be considered as truly independent? if not, are there any other suitable MCU available?

On which condition the MCLK might fail and lose the synchronization, it's failure rate?
