Per Ch. 7 in the TMS570LC43x ref. manual, we have downloaded the 'spnc033.zip', which contains 'F021FlashApi-02.01.01-windows-installer.exe', and installed it.

After the installation, we see:

Our questions are:

Which of the listed library contains the proper F021 Flash driver code, for TMS570LC4357?
How should the library be properly integrated into our software project in CodeComposerStudio?

Hi John,

You can use "F021_API_CortexR4_BE_L2FMC_V3D16"

You can find same info in FEE example of HALCoGen as well.

Thanks for the reply. If I may ask further: What would be the difference between 'F021_API_CortexR4_BE_L2FMC.lib' and 'F021_API_CortexR4_BE_L2FMC_V3D16.lib'?

Hi John,

If you are using the FPU - then almost certainly you would have turned on the compiler switch for floating point. So, then you'd link against the _V3D16 version ...the FPU's long name is VFPv3D16 which is where _V3D16 comes from.

If you are not using any floating-point operations in your application, then you can go for without V3D16 version.
