AM2612: how about leave TEMPCAL floating?

Hi, experts,

In AM2612 datasheet, it is said TEMPCAL pin is reserved and must be connected to ground (VSS). But in LP-AM261, this pin is left floating. Customers want to know if there is any potential risk if they leave TEMPCAL floating in their board.

I would suggest following the data sheet and connecting TEMPCAL to GND.

Design team confirmed that there is no functional issue if TEMPCAL is left floating. How is the customer connecting the VDD_TEMP pin?

Hi, Brennan,

VDD_TEMP is connecting to 1.2V through 0 ohm resistor.

No issues with their VDD_TEMP connection.

In general, we recommend that TEMPCAL is connected to GND but there will not be any functional issue if TEMPCAL is left floating. The customer implementation is good.
