TMS470MF03107: TMS470PSC249PZI and CS249C014PZ-TRSV is the same part ?

Part Number: TMS470MF03107

Tool/software:

Hi,We need the part TMS470PSC249PZI, but we received CS249C014PZ-TRSV . I want to know if TMS470PSC249PZI and CS249C014PZ-TRSV are the same part.

  • Hi,

I'm looking into your query and will get back with you shortly.

  • Hi LanLan,

    We need the part TMS470PSC249PZI,

Do you have the device marking or any document of this part number in your inventory? TMS470PSC249PZI is not a valid part number. Maybe you have a typo.

  • Hi,Charles,I have uploaded the pictures of marking and the label. I can't find the datasheet. Is this a customized material? I noticed that the logo on the chip itself is not the logo of Texas Instruments (TI), but a customized logo. Now I want to confirm whether the DEVICE MARKING  of the chip can verify that it is the same thing as the TMS470PSc249PZl I need. Thank you.

  • Hi LanLan,

I think there is some misunderstanding here on my question. Here you said you have received CS249C014PZ. The C014 is a particular ROM mask version. Let's say you have ordered multiple times from TI the TMS470PSC249PZI (note this is not a valid p/n), can you please show in your prior orders? A device marking of the chip that has been soldered onto your board will greatly clarify if you have received the same this time compared to before.

You have just shown me the same pictures that you already showed in your original post.

noticed that the logo on the chip itself is not the logo of Texas Instruments (TI), but a customized logo.

I will check internally about this.

  • hi,Charles,Ti-order code   is CS249C012PZ-T

  • Hi LanLan,

If your prior order was CS249C012PZ-T then CS249C014PZ-TRSV would not be the right replacement. I will suggest you add me as a friend in e2e so we discuss via private message. What I can tell here is that CS249C012PZ indicates version 12 with a ROM mask that is unique for one application while CS249C014PZ is version 14 with a different ROM mask that is specific for a different application.

noticed that the logo on the chip itself is not the logo of Texas Instruments (TI), but a customized logo.

The logo shown on the device marking is a custom logo for a customer which I will not reveal the name on the public forum. Please contact me in PM so we can resolve your issue.
