Hi,

I have an issue regarding OTP KeyWriter of AM242 ALV on my custom board.

Previously I have followed OPT Keywriter 9.01 guide to write OTP KeyWriter on AM243x-LP and all has worked correctly.

Now, I'm trying to repeat the same steps for having secure boot also on my custom board but Keywriter gives me this log:

Starting Keywriting
Enabled VPP
keys Certificate found: 0x70050780
©Vwriter Debug Response:0x2000800
Error occured...

If I remember well, it seems the same error that I had on Launchpad before adding jumper on JP22.

How can I avoid this error?

The issue is possibly caused by the VPP. The logs says "Enabled VPP" but have you probed the hardware to confirm the VPP is indeed enabled at 1.8V?

Yes, it's regarding this topic.

But I have another question, why if I don't use command under section "Program in one shot" I have error 0x10000?

Is it always related to this issue?

For example, If I created certificate starting from my keys created with openssl I have this error.

This code means there was an error in programming SMPK.

This again is possibly caused by the VPP. Please make sure you have the VPP enabled correctly.
