Our customer is designing AM243x ALX based custom board and has some questions on unused pin termination.
- How to terminate pins like A17 and B18 if unused?
- is there general guide line for unused pin termination? the data sheet does not describe how to terminate unused for all the pins.

My suggestion is that configure these pins as outputs and drive a low signal from the software .

How to terminate pins like A17 and B18 if unused?
I am curious to understand the reason you are specifically asking about connecting these 2 pins - i suspect this is due to the I2C function.
Please refer the below notes after Connectivity Requirements (ALX Package) section.
These pins support emulated I2C interface. When the Pins are not used these pins default to IO functionality and the IO buffers are off.
The pins can be left unconnected.
