MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: ICSS_FIRMWARE_RELEASE_1 number of Profinet PRU is always reading 0 in debug mode

Tool/software:

When I try to run the profinet pru in the debug mode using CCS, ICSS_FIRMWARE_RELEASE_1 and ICSS_FIRMWARE_RELEASE_2 values are always reading 0 in the memory offset shown below.

However in case of Release mode the values are reading correctly. May I know what should i do differently in debug mode to make it work as expected.

Hi Lokesh,

Could you mention which version of Industrial Communication SDK you are using?
Also can you let me know whether the application is working fine in debug mode?

Hi Laxman,

I am using "ind_comms_sdk_am243x_09_02_00_08"

Yes Application works fine without any issues.

Only thing when application calls PN_initDrv function located in the pru, due to missing release_1 and release_2 this function is returning error (ERR_FIRMWARE_VERSION_BAD)
