Hi TI team, 

Could you please confirm whether native support for I2S/TDM is available in the AM2432? If native support is not available, is there any workaround to enable I2S/TDM functionality through I2C, SPI, or PRU? Additionally, are there any existing libraries or HW & SW resources available to facilitate this implementation?

    Hi

    I2S/TDM functionality can be realized using PRU-ICSS. 

    Can you share following details, which will help us in understanding if we can implement it or not?

    • • Number of channels
    • TDM – How many channels?  
    • What error detection mechanism is required?
    • Sampling rate
    • Sample size
    • FCLK and BCLK rate
    • Is PRU used for any other purpose?
