Hello Team,

we are using MCAL : MCAL_MSPM0_00.02.04.00 package

SDK : mspm0_sdk_2_04_00_06 version

we wanted to start MCAN Communication

can you please let us know is there any example available as part of SDK from TI to verify MCAN communication externally to PCAN or any other testing device .

Also we have TCAN1462 Can Transceiver, can we use this external Can Transceiver on LP-MSPM0G3519 board for CAN communication

Also can you please let me know which CAN Transceiver we should use for this and also about the how the Connections should be done between Board and Transceiver

If there is any document regarding connections, Can you please let us know

Hi Pradeep,

You can open this project and check in Sysconfig files, Connect PA12 to TX pin, PA13 to RX pin.

And for TCAN1461 Transceiver, connect one GPIO(set GPIO output Low), or connect ground also fine to set active mode

we have one more query , we have TCAN1462 Can Transceiver , can we use this Can transceiver on LP-MSPM0G3519 board for CAN communication or should we use TCAN1461 Can Transceiver only for this board?

I checked TCAN1462, the VIO support 3V, thus can use with LP-MSPM0G3519, no issue here.
