AM2634-Q1: Motorbike ECU: how to implement angle based actuation

Part Number: AM2634-Q1

Tool/software:

Good Morning,

we would like to use Am 2634 microcontroller in our ECU. Our concern is related to the angle-based actuations and how to manage them without overloading the core.

Is there any possibility to program peripheral to managed directly the flywheel signal and sychronize the specific microcontroller output pins (for example the ones reserved for Ignition and injection) to be driven automatically?

do you have anything that could be shared to understand how this microcontroller could be used?

The same question couuld be asked also for XF29H850TU9TZEX.

thank you

  • Hello,

Apologies for the delay in response. The eQEP is capable of generating a sync-out pulse on a selected compare event. That output can then be routed through the XBARs to another peripheral which directly controls the specific signals you're discussing, if it has a sync-in signal option, such as the ePWM. This is applicable to both MCUs.
